The Science of Mindfulness

Join this 1 hour session to learn about the real physical changes happening in the brain whilst practising mindfulness and leave with a new perspective and practical tips on how to integrate it easily into daily life.

Dr Trudi Edginton is a clinical psychologist and mindfulness teacher. She is interested in exploring the neurobiological, cognitive and psychological effects of mindfulness in clinical, community and educational settings with a focus on ageing, individuals with neurological conditions and carers.

Head of Psychology at City, University of London she is also co-founder of the Centre for Excellence in Mindfulness Research which goes beyond academic enquiry to provide a community for mindfulness practitioners through weekly drop in sessions and workshops.
